Christi L. Alexander
Christi began her legal career in 2006 as a legal assistant at a prominent law firm in Joliet, Illinois. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lewis University in 2008 where she double majored in Criminal Justice and Psychology. Christi continued her education at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, previously known as The John Marshall Law School, and earned her Juris Doctor in 2011. Christi has also completed substantial coursework toward an MBA at DePaul University, Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.
Prior to opening her own firm, Christi gained extensive experience in family law while working at other firms in the Chicagoland area. Her focus has been primarily in the areas of divorce, parentage and paternity, custody, and post-decree matters. Christi understands the emotional toll that family law issues can have on clients. Her passion and dedication to this field of law allows her to strongly advocate for the best interests of her clients. She takes pride in being the voice of her clients and ensures that each client understands every step throughout the process.
Christi is currently an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association and practices in the counties of Cook and Will.
Adilene Ruiz is a life-long Will County resident. A first generation Mexican American, Adilene grew up speaking Spanish at home while learning English in the Joliet Public School system. Adilene attended the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal and Social Justice with a Concentration in Law and Politics in 2014. She received her Juris Doctor in 2019 from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, previously known as The John Marshall Law School.
Adilene enjoys supporting Attorney Alexander and her clients with all aspects of their case. She has regular and direct contact with clients, providing them with updates and assisting all throughout the legal process. Adilene is currently in the process of becoming a licensed attorney.
